A mandala rewards looking at for longer than a moment, which is a useful quality in an earring. The Mandala Earrings set concentric rings of detail across a round oxidised silver disc, each band of pattern sitting inside the next and working toward the centre.

The rings are worked by hand from the outside in, so the spacing stays even and the pattern resolves properly at the middle. The oxidised finish drops into each channel between the rings, which is what gives the disc its graphic, almost drawn quality.

At 11.5 g they are light for their visual weight. Wear them with everyday ethnic dressing where you want one strong graphic element, or for festivals and evenings with something plain and well cut.
