A fan opening outward from a single point is one of the most effective shapes in jewellery, because it gives the eye a direction to travel. The Madhavi Earring uses it directly: a sunburst fan dropping from the ear, with a raised domed centre and a fine beaded edge running the outer rim.

The fan is shaped by hand so the rays sit evenly, and the domed centre lifts the middle of the piece so it never reads flat. The beaded edge finishes the silhouette and catches light along the whole curve.

At 9.4 g these are deliberately light for their size, which is the point of the fan shape. Wear them for festivals and evenings out, with ethnic or fusion wear, when you want scale without weight.
