A cluster of small beads gathered on a band is one of the oldest decorative ideas in Indian silver, and it survives because it works. The Ghungroo Toe Thumb Ring gathers a pearl-like beaded cluster on an oxidised silver band, with fine detailing worked around it.

Each bead is set by hand, which is why the cluster sits slightly irregularly and catches light from several directions at once. The oxidised finish around the setting makes the pale beads read brighter by contrast.
