The Divyamudra bangle carries the Om and the Swastik, two of the oldest marks of auspiciousness in Indian tradition, carved in open cut-work around the band and framed by beaded milgrain borders. Finished in oxidised silver so every symbol stands out in relief. A quietly devotional piece for festivals, pujas and everyday wear.

Each piece is shaped by hand by our artisans, so slight variations in finish, oxidisation and detailing are natural and are part of the character of your piece.

Description

Some symbols have been with us so long that they no longer need explaining. The Divyamudra Silver Bangle gathers two of them, the Om and the Swastik, and sets them in open cut-work right around the band. In Hindu tradition the Om is the primordial sound from which everything unfolds, and the Swastik is an ancient mark of auspiciousness and well-being, drawn at thresholds and on ledgers at the start of anything new. Worn together on the wrist, they make this a piece about blessing rather than ornament alone.

Our artisans carve each symbol by hand and pierce the silver around it, so light passes through the band and the motifs read clearly from every angle. Fine beaded milgrain borders run along both edges to hold the composition together, and an oxidised finish settles into the recesses so the carving stands out in soft relief. It is the kind of detailing that rewards a second look.

The Divyamudra Silver Bangle sits beautifully through festival mornings, temple visits, Diwali and Navratri gatherings, and the small family occasions that matter just as much. Wear it with a cotton saree or a simple kurta for everyday grace, stack several for a fuller festive look, or give it as a blessing at a housewarming, a wedding or the start of something new.

Key Highlights

  • Hand-carved Om and Swastik cut-work around the full band.
  • Beaded milgrain borders along both edges for a finished, traditional frame.
  • Rich oxidised silver finish that lifts every carved detail.
  • Available in four sizes, from 2.2 to 2.8, for a comfortable slip-on fit.
  • Handcrafted in India by our rural artisan partners.

Jewellery Care

  • Store in the provided pouch or an airtight box, away from moisture and direct sunlight.
  • Avoid contact with perfume, deodorant, hairspray, water and household chemicals; wear jewellery last and remove it first.
  • Gently wipe after each wear with a soft, dry cloth to preserve shine.
  • For oxidised silver, do not use silver-polish liquid or harsh dips, as these strip the antique black patina. Clean only with a soft dry cloth.
  • Remove before sleeping, bathing, swimming, exercising and household work.
